Some of you probably already know about this - I have been invited to be a wine judge at the 2007 Wine Style Asia Award in the Sommelier Round! I am greatly honoured because this is the first time I will judging wine alongside the professional Sommelier and people in the wine trade.

My wine 'shi-fu', Malcolm Tham, invited me to judge the wines at this event because I scored a distinction in the Science and Art of Wine he conducted in Singapore Polytechnic in 2006. I am looking forward to an interesting experience. For all you know, this will event be the event that launch my wine critic career :-)

Dear frens,

It has been quite sometime since I last posted anything in this blog. Many apologies. I have been, partly, too busy with my work and, partly, too busy tasting (or rather drinking) new wine so much so that I couldn't find time to post anything.

Well. Things are going to change now. My first batch of students just turn 18 and leaving school. I promised them that I will introduce them to my world of wine once they turn 18 (the legal age to drink in Singapore). So I have invited them to join my blog. Anyway, I know many of them have been drinking alcohol even before 18 years old under their parents' supervision.

Ok. Welcome to all whom have just join this blog and go ahead to publicise this blog to your friends. Well. You all should know my criteria must be 18 years old and above in order to join this blog.
