2. Fairview Pinotage
Fairview is a good SA wine producer. Those of you who like the 'Goat do Roam'label will be pleased to know that this is the company that own Goat do Roam. Anyway, this a single varietal wine. The grapes is Pinotage. This is a special varietal which is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault grapes. This wine is dense with soft black fruits and banana-flavoured mocha. A big wine and it should be arated for at least an hour to get the best out of it. After one hour, I smell something like aged cheese in this. I was told by my South African friends that this is typical Pinotage's characteristic. Very Interesting. I am going to look for more good Pinotage to drink.
3. Cederberg Cerderberger
Cederberg is another good producer from SA. This wine is a blend of pinotage, ruby cabernet and merlot. This is more complex and finer wine compared to the previous singular Pinotage. Most of my friends like this particularly Keng Hsin. He like it so much that he bought one to take away. He wanted to give it to me but very 'pah seh' to take it. So this wine will be keep until our next wine session.

4. Goat Roti

From the famous Goat do Roam label. This is their flagship wine. A typical Rhone blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Cinsault and a seasoning Viognier. A very interesting wine. On the nose, intense flavour of blackberries, and anise. The palate is consistent with the nose. But decanting will help you to maximise your enjoyment of this wine. Next time, when you arrive. Get the service staff to uncork and decant this wine first before you drink it. You want to start with a nice refreshing white while you give this winr some time to breathe. I believe you will find this extra effort very rewarding, at least your palate will.
Enjoy the weekend.
Cheers,
Sam

Hi,
I think The Wine Company must really thank me. My friend Choy Kian like the place so much that he brought his wife there last night.
Good for them, there is another new place for them to enjoy a bottle. The best part is Evans Rd is a stone's throw from their place.
Cheers,
Sam
